Bring AI generation straight into your Digital Audio Workstation with the Stable Audio Plugin. Generate high-quality sound effects, instruments, and audio textures directly within your session.

Supported Platforms & Formats

  • Formats at Launch: macOS VST (Cubase, Reaper, Ableton) and macOS AU (Logic Pro).
  • Included Local Models: Comes bundled with local processing via SA3 SFX and SA3 Medium models.
  • Cloud Generations (Stable Audio 3 Large): Log into your Stable Audio account within the plugin to utilize Stable Audio 3 Large. Cloud generations share the same credit pool as your web account via the Stable Sessions API.

  • Text-to-Audio generation.
  • Upcoming Updates: Windows OS support, AAX (Pro Tools) format, and in-plugin Inpainting/Audio-to-Audio functionality will be added in future releases.
