Where can I find my API Key?

To find your Platform API key:

1. Go to the Stability AI Developer Platform at https://platform.stability.ai and log in or create an account. New accounts receive 25 free credits for initial testing and evaluation purposes.

2. Once logged in, click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard. The page will open on the API Keys view by default, where you can see any existing keys associated with your account.

3. Use the “+” icon to generate a new API key (you can have up to 10 active keys at a time). This is useful for separating environments (e.g., staging vs. production) or different projects.

4. To remove a key you no longer need or want to rotate for security reasons, click the “X” icon next to that key to delete it.

For security, store your API key in a secret manager or environment variable and never expose it in client-side code, public repos, or shared screenshots.
